TENETS

COPMOBA IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION
We rely on membership funds, volunteers, and grants.

COPMOBA IS A VOICE FOR SINGLETRACK MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS
Although our Chapters work with local land management agencies and user groups, we do not represent them—we represent our trails and users.

COPMOBA TRAILS ARE LOCATED ON THE COLORADO PLATEAU
Our vast trail network is located primarily within the geologic boundary of the Colorado Plateau in Western Colorado and portions of eastern Utah.

COPMOBA BUILDS SINGLETRACK TRAIL
Although we advocate for and maintain many miles of doubletrack trail within our region, we build singletrack mountain bike trails.

COPMOBA ADVOCATES FOR NON-MOTORIZED TRAIL
Although many miles of trail in our region have motorized access, we advocate for non-motorized singletrack mountain bike trails.

COPMOBA BUILDS HIGH-QUAILITY SINGLETRACK TRAILS
We responsibly build sustainable singletrack mountain bike trails to suit the terrain and intended skill level.

COPMOBA TRAILS ARE SHARED TRAILS
Although we design and build trails with mountain bikers in mind, our trails are primarily multi-use trails.

COPMOBA BUILDS FOR ALL AGES & ABILITIES
We build singletrack mountain bike trails for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, without prejudice.

COPMOBA IS COMMITTED TO THE FUTURE OF MOUNTAIN BIKING
We facilitate events for youth and adults that teach trail ethics and encourage participation in mountain biking and trail building.  Kids are our future trail users and trail advocates.
